The Sound Of Leamington Spa finally hits the shops
The long awaited and delayed 80's Indie-pop compilation "The Sound Of Leamington Spa" is now available from your favourite shop or by mail-order.
The Pooh Sticks open with "Indie-pop aint noise pollution" and sing about the best days of their lives. Those days in the second half of the eighties were, for sure, some of the best ones of my life. We compiled some of the songs that made those days so special. You can hear favourites from "The Desert Wolves", "The Man From Delmonte", "The Siddeleys" or the "Wishing Stones". We also include lesser known bands which were no less wonderful. Altogether there are 21 songs, some of them unreleased, all of them for the first time on CD. The 24 pages booklet has loads of information about the bands.
