Hey Min and all, My favorite Bee Gees songs are on the soundtrack to a wonderful early-70's kids film starring Jack Wild called "Melody." The songs "Melody Fair" and "In the Morning" are, along with "Kilburn Towers," "Every Christian Lion Hearted Man" and a few others off the first three LPs, some of the most lush and exquisite 60's/early 70's orchestral pop recordings. I believe that the songs on the soundtrack to "Melody" are also on the double-lp "Odessa," the one with the fuzzy red velveteen cover. Harvey is more informed than me on the Bee Gee scene, so I'll ask him tonight. He's in New York for the big WFMU record fair (which I cannot recommend highly enough to all fellow record geeks). Last year's haul included "Sunshine Thuggery" and "Pristine Christine," both for less than $10, and a totally mint copy of the Free Design's "Sing for Very Important People." Sweet. Bye, keith.
